The posting

Voor een snelgroeiend softwarebedrijf en de regio Aalter met klanten over de hele wereld zoeken wij een Financial Business Controller. Het bedrijf verkoopt een eigen product aan klanten op verschillende continenten en groeit snel. De directie heeft steeds meer cijfers nodig om de juiste beslissingen te nemen. Je rapporteert aan de Finance Director en werkt samen met de directie en de commerciële teams. Je zet AI-tools in om de rapportering sneller en slimmer te maken en je bepaalt mee hoe finance in dit bedrijf werkt.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je start met een eerste project: je verbetert de bestaande financiële rapportering, die al met AI-tools is opgebouwd. Je voegt analyses toe en zorgt dat de rapporten sneller klaar zijn
  • Je maakt de maandelijkse, driemaandelijkse en jaarlijkse cijfers op, inclusief de consolidatie en de jaarrekening
  • Je volgt de boekhouding van dichtbij op: accruals, revenue, btw en kosten. Je zorgt dat alles klopt en goed gecontroleerd wordt
  • Je stelt het budget en de forecasts op en legt aan het management, Sales en Customer Services uit wat de cijfers betekenen.
  • Na je inwerking help je mee om werkwijzen in verschillende afdelingen te verbeteren.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in een financiële richting.
  • Je hebt 3 tot 5 jaar relevante ervaring als controller en een grondige boekhoudkundige kennis (Belgian GAAP).
  • Je hebt ervaring met AI-tools en staat er open voor om ze dagelijks in te zetten.
  • Je bent zelfstandig, analytisch en hands-on, durft te experimenteren en kan flexibel schakelen tussen taken.
  • Je werkt vlot met Excel en consolidatiesoftware (kennis van Exact Online en Lucanet is een pluspunt) en communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels. Ervaring in een grotere onderneming is een meerwaarde.
