Voor een internationaal bedrijf in de regio Gent, actief in havenlogistiek en terminalexploitatie, zoeken we een Senior Internal Auditor. De groep laadt en lost schepen in havens in Europa en Afrika en slaat de goederen tijdelijk op tot de klant ze nodig heeft. Ook in de Belgische havens is de groep op meerdere plaatsen actief. Het bedrijf is financieel gezond en groeit gestaag. De Senior Internal Auditor werkt vanuit het hoofdkantoor in regio Gent en neemt de Belgische vestigingen onder de loep, zowel financieel als operationeel.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor audits van A tot Z, van de planning en het fieldwork tot de rapportage voor de Belgische vestigingen
  • Je analyseert veel data en beoordeelt zo of de interne controles op orde zijn en waar de risico's zitten
  • Je bespreekt je bevindingen met het management en stelt concrete verbeteracties voor
  • Je volgt op of je aanbevelingen in de praktijk worden uitgevoerd en ondersteunt de entiteiten daarbij
  • Je rapporteert aan het hoofd van interne audit en denkt mee over de auditmethodologie

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je hebt 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring in interne audit, of in externe audit.
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in audit, corporate finance of een verwante richting.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels. Frans is belangrijk omdat de audits ook in het buitenland plaatsvinden.
  • Je bent leergierig, nieuwsgierig, pragmatisch en hands-on, en je werkt graag samen in een klein team.
  • Je bent bereid om af en toe te reizen: regelmatig naar andere Belgische sites en een paar keer per jaar naar het buitenland.
