The posting

Penzel Valier ist ein interdisziplinäres Architektur- und Ingenieurbüro mit Sitz in Zürich. Wir entwickeln und realisieren komplexe Hochbau- und Infrastrukturprojekte und verbinden dabei Architektur, Technik und wirtschaftliche Umsetzung.

In der Abteilung VDC/TEC entwickeln wir die digitale Planungsumgebung von Penzel Valier weiter. ArchiCAD und Allplan liefern IFC-Exporte, die in ihrer Struktur, Klassifikation und Attributierung nicht durchgängig unserem Bürostandard entsprechen - die Exportfunktionen der CAD-Software stossen hier an ihre Grenzen. Wir suchen eine Person mit sehr guten Coding-Fähigkeiten und IFC-Kenntnissen, die dafür eine automatisierte Schnittstelle konzipiert und baut: IFC-Dateien werden programmatisch geprüft, korrigiert und strukturell sauber in den PeVa-Standard überführt - auf Basis von Python-Werkzeugen wie IfcOpenShell oder AnkerDB.

Dein Wirkungsfeld:

  • Konzeption, Entwicklung und Betrieb einer automatisierten IFC-Verarbeitungspipeline (Python, z.B. IfcOpenShell / AnkerDB), die Exporte aus ArchiCAD, Allplan und weiteren Tools prüft, korrigiert und in den PeVa-Standard überführt
  • Entwicklung interner Bibliotheken und Applikationen für die automatisierte Qualitätsprüfung von IFC-Dateien (Geometrie, Klassifikation, Attribute, Property Sets)
  • Design und Pflege von Datenstrukturen und Schemas für den Bürostandard (IFC-Klassifikation, Property Sets, Namenskonventionen)
  • Aktive Einbindung der Applikationen und Skripte über Schnittstellen in die bestehende Softwareumgebung (ArchiCAD, Allplan, Visoplan sowie interne Tools)
  • Weiterentwicklung und Implementierung von CAD- und VDC-Standards in Projekten
  • Koordination und Qualitätssicherung der modellbasierten Planung
  • Entwicklung und Verbesserung von Schulungs- und Supportstrukturen für digitale Planungsprozesse
  • Förderung des Wissensaustauschs zwischen den Teams und Unterstützung der Mitarbeitenden bei der Anwendung von BIM-Standards
  • Weiterentwicklung der Arbeitsgrundlagen CAD und BIM sowie Übersetzung der Bedürfnisse der Teams in verbesserte Grundlagen

Was Du mitbringst:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Data Science oder vergleichbare Qualifikation mit starkem Coding-Hintergrund
  • Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python; solides Verständnis von Datenstrukturen, Algorithmen und Software-Engineering-Praktiken (Git, Testing, saubere Architektur); C++-Kenntnisse von Vorteil
  • Kenntnisse des IFC-Standards / buildingSMART-Datenmodells, idealerweise praktische Erfahrung mit IfcOpenShell oder vergleichbaren IFC-Toolkits
  • Interesse an der Bauwelt und an digitalen Planungsprozessen (BIM/VDC)
  • Freude an der Schulung und Unterstützung von Mitarbeitenden
  • Selbständige, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise und Teamfähigkeit
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
