The company is a professional Swiss/German invested manufacturer of high-quality decorative knitted polyester fabrics and ready-mades, as well as technical textiles. The company is part of a group of mid-sized textile companies located in Germany, the Czech Republic, France, and Vietnam. The group has more than 55 years of market experience in lace and has a market leadership position in manufacturing decorative knitted fabrics for decades.

Main responsibilities of a QC/QA Manager

you will work on the quality of our products from the fabric knitting process, fabric processing, fabric cutting, and sewing packing until the shipping process, which would be a GOOD OPPORTUNITY for candidates who LOVE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT COMPLETE PRODUCTION PROCESSES OF DECORATIVE TEXTILES.

  1. Ensure that the companys products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the customers. The QC/QA Manager will work from the beginning of the product development and design, work with purchasing, the design office, and the IE/Spec departments, assure sufficient inline inspections, and conduct an inspection of the final product to make sure it is compliant with the customer expectations, the quality policies of the company as well as all legal standards. He will supervise the quality through all production steps (design, purchasing, knitting, fabric processing, cut & sew, and shipping).
  2. The QC/QA Manager will also take main responsibility for working with outside processors, subcontractors, suppliers, laboratories, and other outside parties in respect of quality-related questions.
  3. Have knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and applications for quality.
  4. Be responsible for company audits in regards to QC/QA department.
  5. Other jobs as required by the Management of Company.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Devise and establish a company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Review customer requirements and making sure they are met.
  • Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
  • Set standards for quality as well as health and safety;
  • Make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards;
  • Look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency;
  • Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures;
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;
  • Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
  • Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business;
  • Make sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors;
  • Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identify critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitor procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures;
  • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; document evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; write and update quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborate with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Have knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and applications for quality.
  • Be responsible for company audits in regards of QA/QC department.
  • Other jobs as required by the Management of Company.

Qualifications

To meet the requirements of the job, we expect any applicant to speak fluent English and Vietnamese, be self-confident and independent in the work. We prefer applicants with experience in the textile industry and 3-4 years of experience in senior management or supervisor positions in the field of Textile/Garment QC/QA

  • Male or strong female. University graduation or similar qualification.
  • Knowledge about ISO. Know about quality measurement standards.
  • Very good communication skills, good sense of responsibilities and ethics, can work in pressure working environment.
  • Fluent English. Computer skills required (MS Office: Word, Excel).
  • Business trips abroad (Thailand, Germany, China ...) may be requested from time to time
  • Experience is a senior management position in textile related manufacturing for at least 3-5 years
  • Foreigners or Vietnamese are welcome, fluent Vietnamese is a must
