About the Company

Our Client is an innovative manufacturer of building and interior materials.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Demand Planner to own short-, medium- and long-term demand planning and to act as the interface between Sales and Supply Planning, driving forecast accuracy and supporting the S&OP process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control of short-, medium- and long-term demand planning processes
  • Creation and coordination of customer-oriented quantity forecasts as an interface between Sales and Supply Planning
  • Continuous analysis and optimization of forecasting at item and customer level
  • Initiation of measures in the event of deviations, aiming to improve forecast planning accuracy
  • Transformation of requirements planning into concrete orders, taking contract data for merchandise suppliers into account
  • Accompaniment of the S&OP process and coordination with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Management
  • KPI reporting
  • Supervision of product availability while optimizing working capital
  • Transmission of relevant business data for the continuous optimization of information, goods and financial flows along the entire value chain
  • Preparation of analyses and presentations for management
  • Initiation and participation in local and international projects, e.g. further development of the S&OP / IBP processes
  • Warehouse inbound process & import document control
  • EU supplier management

Formal Requirements

  • Business degree or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in forecasting, ideally within the construction industry
  • Reporting experience
  • Very good command of English
  • Very good command of Korean
  • IT knowledge and skills: MS Office, especially very good Excel knowledge
  • SAP experience
