WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Per Scholas seeks a Manager, Talent Solutions to ensure our graduates successfully attain mid-level technology positions after graduation. The Talent Solutions team coordinates with Per Scholas local and national resources to identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with new and existing corporate employer partners to place successful graduates in jobs with them and create hiring pipelines for our graduates, achieving an 80% job attainment target for each cohort. Additionally, the Manager will also support recent graduates and alumni with career advisement such as finding, responding, and preparing for job interviews, as well as advising students 1:1 and in small groups on career advancement opportunities to ensure successful placement in relevant jobs in the technology sector.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Employer Outreach
- Develop and execute engagement strategies to foster long-term partnerships with employers in the technology sector.
- Collaborate with employer partners to identify their talent needs and align Per Scholas graduates with suitable opportunities.
- Organize and lead employer networking events, informational sessions, and industry panels to connect graduates with hiring companies.
- Coordinate employer site visits and job shadowing opportunities to enhance graduates’ understanding of industry expectations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with employer partners to gather feedback on graduate performance and refine engagement strategies. Work closely with employer partners to create customized hiring programs, apprenticeships, or direct placement pipelines.
- Leverage labor market trends and employer insights to refine job placement strategies and expand employer networks.
- Experience in meeting and exceeding business development goals to ensure job attainment quotas are met.
Career Advisement
- Provide personalized guidance and support to individuals regarding job attainment and career progression within their organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to recommend graduates for specific job requisitions, leveraging insights into individual skills and talents.
- Conduct one-on-one sessions to address career concerns, strategize career goals, and provide ongoing support throughout their professional journey within the organization.
- Conduct job readiness assessments on learners to ensure their readiness for graduation and future employment.
- Co-manage alumni outreach and activities for students graduating from Per Scholas programs
Data Management
- Monitor and manage student outcome and placement data in Per Scholas Salesforce database as well as up-and-out metrics for internal and client reporting
- Maintain accurate records of career advisement sessions and contribute to reports evaluating the success of career development initiatives.
- Provide feedback from employers to the product development team to strengthen our curriculum and services
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US:
Professional Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related professional experience, preferably in sales/business development, career development, and/or adult workforce development
- Career and job development with specific experience in job-readiness/workplace skills training
- Ability to generate or leverage existing relationships with employers
- Experience with social media platforms
- Data-savvy and metrics-oriented
- Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Apollo is a plus

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range between $65,000 and $70,000, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides, and alignment with qualifications and experience.

Holidays & PTO: Full-Time Per Scholas team members enjoy over 40 days of paid time off each year through a mix of holidays, vacation, and sick/personal time! All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements.
Comprehensive Medical Coverage: Benefit eligible employees can choose from multiple medical plans through Cigna or Kaiser Permanente (where available), with options to fit your needs. Eligible employees also have access to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) that reimburses eligible out-of-pocket expenses, up to $4,000 for individuals and $8,000 for families.
Dental and Vision Insurance: Eligible employees can select from two dental plan options and a vision plan. Employees who waive medical coverage receive employer paid dental and vision premiums.
Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a current 100% employer match on contributions up to 6%, eligible employees are offered entry and full vesting after 90 days with the company.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, confidential, 24/7 access to counseling, legal support, and financial resources for employees and their household members
Parental Leave: Eligible employees are offered up to 6 weeks of 100% paid parental leave to support employees as they welcome a new child and bond with their family.
