Project Manager – Fit Out Construction

Job Description Ready to take on a new Project Manager – Fit Out Construction challenge? You will lead interior renovation projects from the initial design phase through to the final handover. This role suits an organized professional who enjoys coordinating diverse teams to achieve high-quality results. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Manage the complete lifecycle of interior fit out projects from inception to successful final completion. • Develop comprehensive project schedules and detailed budgets to ensure all milestones remain strictly on track. • Handle the procurement process including tendering, contract negotiation, and selecting reliable subcontractors and outside vendors. • Monitor active construction sites to resolve technical issues and implement necessary corrective actions for progress. • Prepare regular financial reports and manage project cash flow to stay within the approved budget. • Communicate project updates and expectations clearly to clients, consultants, and all relevant project stakeholders. • Enforce rigorous quality control standards and ensure all site work complies with safety building regulations.

Job Requirements • Proven experience managing interior fit out construction projects from start to finish. • Strong technical understanding of building processes and internal design construction methods. • Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders. • Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and construction project plans. • Demonstrated expertise in project financial management and cost reporting techniques. • Deep knowledge of statutory safety standards and industry building codes for commercial interiors.
