Brief Summary:

This position entails a pivotal role in business development, focusing on client acquisition and asset management across various regional markets. Ideal for candidates with strong networking skills and a proven track record in financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve targets for revenue and asset under management (AUM).
  • Establish relationships with accredited investors, institutional clients, family offices, and corporate investors.
  • Generate new business opportunities across designated regional markets.
  • Originate fund and asset management mandates, including bespoke investment solutions.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of business leads and convert opportunities to successful onboarding.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Promote investment products and strategies while collaborating with investment teams.
  • Conduct market research to monitor trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within financial services.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and capital raising.
  • Established network within the investment community, with specific knowledge of the regional markets.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to navigate different markets and cultural contexts effectively.
