The posting

Voor locatie Kanaalstraat in Heerde zoeken wij een nieuwe begeleider voor in het weekend. Het contract is maximaal 16 uur per week maar één dienst per weekend is zeker bespreekbaar. Dus zoek jij nog een leuke weekendbaan waar je ook nog betekenisvol kunt zijn voor een ander, lees dan verder.

Jouw werkplek

De Kanaalstraat is een intensieve zorglocatie in Heerde voor ouder wordende bewoners met een verstandelijke beperking, vaak in combinatie met een intensieve verzorgings- en/of verplegingsvraag. Veroudering brengt bij de bewoners niet alleen lichamelijke veranderingen met zich mee, maar ook veranderingen in gedrag, beleving en prikkelverwerking.

De locatie bestaat uit 24 appartementen en vier gezellige woonkamers. In deze woonkamers bieden wij interne dagbesteding aan bewoners die op de Kanaalstraat wonen en aan bewoners van andere locaties. De dagstructuur, het tempo en de begeleiding zijn afgestemd op wat cliënten op dat moment aankunnen.

Goede zorg en begeleiding betekent hier: gedrag leren begrijpen vanuit levensgeschiedenis, ouderdom en kwetsbaarheid. Je kijkt niet alleen naar wat iemand doet, maar vooral naar wat iemand probeert te zeggen. Samen met je collega’s zorg je voor rust, voorspelbaarheid en een veilige omgeving, waarin cliënten zich gezien en serieus genomen voelen.

Jouw team 🧩

Je komt terecht in een klein en hecht team van 5 collega’s, waaronder een coördinerend begeleider. We werken nauw samen en zijn eerlijk naar elkaar. Humor, betrokkenheid en collegialiteit zijn belangrijk, maar we durven ook lastige situaties samen te bespreken – juist als gedrag complexer wordt. Daarnaast kan je gevraagd worden of bij nood bij wil springen op andere woningen.

Geen dag is hetzelfde. Het gedrag van cliënten kan wisselen door ouderdom, gezondheid, spanning of vermoeidheid. Jij bent er op de momenten die ertoe doen:

  • je signaleert veranderingen in gedrag
  • je biedt nabijheid, duidelijkheid en structuur
  • je vertaalt gedrag naar passende zorg en begeleiding

Je werkt methodisch en stemt continu af met collega’s, behandelaren, familie en andere betrokkenen. Je begrijpt dat klein gedrag grote impact kan hebben en weet hier rustig en professioneel mee om te gaan.

Je bent een warme en betrokken begeleider die elke dag op zoek is naar de geluksmomentjes voor onze bewoners. Je hebt geduld, kunt relativeren en blijft stevig staan als situaties spanning oproepen. Samenwerken gaat je vanzelf af en je communiceert duidelijk en respectvol.

  • een afgeronde mbo-opleiding niveau 3 of 4 richting Zorg & Welzijn
  • interesse in of ervaring met ouder wordende cliënten met een verstandelijke beperking en bijbehorend gedrag;
  • affiniteit met zelforganisatie;
  • de bereidheid om samen met je collega’s verantwoordelijkheid te nemen voor de kwaliteit van zorg en begeleiding.
