Your role:

  • Work in a fast-paced R&D environment focused on developing innovative healthcare solutions. Support the maintenance and remediation of design control documentation, including requirements, verification records, risk management documentation, and technical file content.

  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (dFMEAs) and other risk management deliverables. Evaluate engineering requirements and verification records for clarity, completeness, consistency, and testability.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Quality & Regulatory, Verification & Validation, Human Factors, Software, Hardware, and project teams to resolve documentation and traceability issues. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation required for regulatory compliance activities, including EU MDR requirements.
  • Collect, organize, and review objective evidence to support regulatory submissions, technical documentation, and audit readiness activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering processes, documentation quality, and design control effectiveness, and present project progress, technical findings, and recommendations to engineering teams and management.

You’re the right fit if:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • You have completed at least three years of undergraduate coursework or are currently enrolled in a graduate program.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing complex technical information.
  • You have foundational knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering, verification and validation, or risk management through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • You are interested in regulated medical device development and healthcare technologies.
  • You have strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • You communicate effectively and work well both independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • You can establish and maintain productive working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • You are a self-motivated learner with a desire to develop expertise in systems engineering and medical device product development.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
