Your role:

  • Lead product safety and compliance activities for medical devices, helping ensure products meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. You will support safety testing, risk assessments, and compliance decision-making for complex medical technologies

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and external partners to solve complex product safety challenges and drive continuous improvement. This is an onsite lab-support role based in Pittsburgh, where regular in-person collaboration is expected.

You're the right fit if:

  • Your skills include interpreting and applying medical device safety standards, including International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60601 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 80601 requirements. Bonus skills include experience with electromagnetic compatibility testing, wireless compliance requirements, respiratory medical devices, or Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or another Engineering discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re an independent and collaborative professional who communicates effectively with a variety of stakeholders and is comfortable influencing decisions related to product safety and compliance. You demonstrate initiative, ownership, and accountability while thriving in a highly technical environment.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
