  • Standardize infrastructure provisioning across Development, Testing, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
  • Ensure modular, version-controlled, and scalable IaC practices.
  • Implement state management, remote backends, and environment isolation strategies.
  • Manage and maintain centralized Terraform module registries to promote reusable, standardized, and governed infrastructure components across teams and environments.
  • Oversee Terraform provider lifecycle management, including provider versioning, compatibility validation, upgrade planning, and dependency governance across infrastructure codebases.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) testing frameworks and validation processes for Terraform modules and infrastructure deployments, including linting, policy validation, automated testing, and compliance checks.

Cloud Infrastructure Automation (GCP)

  • Automate provisioning of GCP services, including:
  • Compute & Containers: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions
  • Data services: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Bigtable
  • Messaging: Pub/Sub, Memorystore
  • Storage & Security: Cloud Storage, Cloud Armor, Artifact Registry
  • Configure infrastructure elements such as:
  • VPC, Shared VPC, VPC Peering
  • Private Service Connect, Private Google Access
  • Load balancers, Cloud DNS, firewall rules

CI/CD Integration

  • Integrate Terraform deployments into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git-based workflows).
  • Implement automated workflows for:
  • Infrastructure provisioning and updates
  • Plan, apply, and drift detection processes
  • Enforce code quality and policy checks (e.g., SonarQube, linting tools).

Environment & Release Management

  • Manage lifecycle of infrastructure across multiple environments.
  • Enable rollback mechanisms, and environment consistency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with applications.

Security & Governance

  • Implement best practices for IAM roles, policies, and least-privilege access.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and governance frameworks.
  • Manage secrets securely using GCP-native or integrated tools.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

  • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure deployment issues.
  • Optimize Terraform configurations for performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Identify and remediate infrastructure drift and inconsistencies.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

  • Work closely with:
  • GCP platform engineers and architects
  • Application development teams (Frontend/Backend)
  • DevOps and QA teams
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide regular updates.
  • Maintain and update documentation in Confluence and related tools.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest Terraform features, GCP capabilities, and DevOps best practices.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote IaC best practices across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of overall experience, with 2–4+ years of strong Terraform experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Terraform (advanced concepts: modules, state, workspaces)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git workflows)
  • Docker and containerized environments
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash/Shell; Groovy is a plus).
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect)
  • Security, IAM, and governance
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration
  • Microservices architecture
  • Hybrid cloud environments (On-Prem + GCP)
  • Exposure to:
  • Apigee API management
  • Observability tools (Dynatrace, Cloud Monitoring, Logging)
  • Akamai integrations
  • Knowledge of build tools (NPM, Gradle).

Key Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform-first mindset)
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Automation and DevOps orientation
  • Attention to detail and governance focus

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
