About The Role

Telephone Account Manager - Public Sector

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £26,975.00 basic salary + Uncapped OTE of £44,922.00

At phs Group, our Telephone Account Managers play a key role in developing existing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customers receive the right solutions for their business needs.

What you'll be doing

As a Telephone Account Manager, you will:

  • Contact existing business customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities to grow their range of services with phs.
  • Manage customer accounts through inbound calls, emails and CRM updates.
  • Handle customer queries and cancellation requests, using effective questioning and problem-solving skills to retain valued business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and product expert, taking a consultative approach to selling.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Promote contractual services across our Washroom, Healthcare, Floorcare and Air Care divisions.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Previous telesales or telephone-based sales experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and rapport-development skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication abilities.
  • A consultative sales approach with the ability to identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Experience selling contractual services (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to successfully close sales.
  • A target-driven mindset with the motivation to exceed expectations.
