The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing a global accounts receivable portfolio, driving timely customer payments, and minimizing past-due balances and potential bad debt exposure. This position analyzes account activity, identifies payment trends and collection risks, resolves complex receivable issues, and partners with internal and external customers to improve cash flow, optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and maintain positive customer relationships.

YOUR IMPACT:

Accounts Receivable & Portfolio Management

  • Manage an assigned global accounts receivable portfolio of up to $15 million with moderate to minimal supervision.
  • Proactively monitor account activity, aging reports, and payment trends to identify delinquent balances and potential collection risks.
  • Execute collection strategies to secure timely customer payments, reduce past-due receivables, and optimize cash flow and DSO.
  • Contact customers to confirm invoice receipt, resolve payment discrepancies, obtain payment commitments, and address delinquent balances. Maintain accurate account documentation, including collection notes, customer communications, payment commitments, and dispute resolution activities.

Account Resolution & Business Support

  • Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies, billing issues, short payments, and other barriers to payment by coordinating with appropriate internal departments.
  • Identify recurring collection challenges and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and improve collection effectiveness.
  • Facilitate customer credit card and ACH transactions for assigned business units in accordance with established procedures and controls.
  • Assist with the whole goods titling process, as needed.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Follow established credit and collections policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements, audits, and other requests related to accounts receivable activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in commercial accounts receivable management, or business-to-business collections.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using a PC and standard business software applications (including Microsoft Office).
  • Experience with advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of AS400-based enterprise platforms or equivalent ERP systems.

Pay Range:

$46,300.00 - $71,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions. Beyond offering a competitive total rewards package, we prioritize a people-first culture and offer various opportunities to support team member growth and success.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
