  • Manage comprehensive corporate risk, including overseeing insurance renewals, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and bonding requirements.
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for external financial partners, CPA firms, banks, legal counsel, and auditors.

Department Oversight: Accounting, Purchasing & Fleet

  • Purchasing: Provide strategic oversight of the purchasing department, vendor negotiations, material procurement, supply chain efficiency, and cost-control strategies to protect project margins.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee company fleet operations, vehicle/equipment acquisition strategies, maintenance cost tracking, asset utilization, and capital expenditure planning.

Construction Accounting & Financial Planning

  • Direct construction accounting, project financial reporting, job costing architectures, WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting, and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Lead the comprehensive annual budgeting process, variance analysis, and multi-year financial forecasting.
  • Oversee payroll operations, including administrative payroll, weekly Union payroll, certified payroll compliance, prevailing wage adherence, and union reporting.

Executive Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and team members across Accounting, Purchasing, and Fleet operations.
  • Establish high-level performance metrics, clear departmental priorities, accountability standards, and scalable processes.
  • Cultivate a culture of cross-departmental collaboration, operational efficiency, and rigorous financial stewardship.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
