Summary: Responsible for the purchasing functions and supervision of the Country Club F & B purchasing department. Ensure the security and safety of the food products and personnel by enforcing the policies and procedures. Ensure high inventory turns by establishing a lean inventory to support the Resort cash flow policy. Maintain a good open line of communication with the Director of Purchasing regarding the Country Club purchasing operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assure compliance with the Avendra program at all times. Fill requisitions with accuracy and in a timely manner. Maintain proper level of inventory in accordance with business levels and cash flow. Conduct period and year end inventories with focus on accuracy and minimum variances. Ensure storeroom and walk-in boxes are secure at all times to protect the food inventory and company investment from loss. Maintain a clean and organized storeroom for efficiency and safety. Communicate with Country Club Chef and Country Club Manager to keep them informed of any concerns or issues. Process invoices, transfers, purchase orders and requisitions in Eatec on a daily basis. Forward all invoices with batch sheet to Accounting Office daily. Order, maintain, and issue food products to the Country Club kitchens, Pool kitchen and the half way houses. Make use of Eatec reports to help you manage the inventory and to identify non-moving items. Addition of new food items must have prior approval of the Resort Executive Chef. Perform price comparisons between USFOOD and Fresh Point on produce and cheeses. Strive to limit the number of deliveries per week when business levels are down in order to maintain Avendra highest bracket Purge the inventory system no less then weekly. Report waste and abuse of company assets to Director of Purchasing.
Perform other job duties as assigned Adhere to all Property and Department standards including Safety Guidelines. You will be expected to work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.

Education and Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school, three to six months related experience and training equivalent combination of education.
