Pay Range: $26 per hour + 100% of all tips
Location: 600 Montgomery St, San Francisco, CA 94111 at the beautiful Transamerica Pyramid
Work Hours: Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week to cover the schedule of Tuesday - Thursday between 3:00pm - 8:00pm.
Reports to: Director of Tenant Experience (on-site)
Your Mission:
Your mission as a part-time bartender is to deliver a polished, welcoming bar experience that elevates each tenant and guest interaction at the Transamerica Pyramid. You are the face of the bar, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere while preparing high-quality beverages with consistency and care. You maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, bringing attention to detail and thoughtful service to every shift so each experience feels seamless and memorable.
Responsibilities:
- Bar Service & Guest Experience: You provide attentive, high-touch service to tenants and guests, creating a welcoming environment while confidently preparing and serving beverages. You anticipate needs, engage naturally with guests, and ensure each interaction reflects a polished, hospitality-driven experience.
- Beverage Preparation & Quality: You prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and properly measuring, portioning, and garnishing each drink to ensure consistency and quality. You maintain a strong understanding of ingredients and presentation, delivering every beverage with care and attention to detail.
- Bar Operations & Organization: You ensure the bar is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times, including managing inventory levels, restocking supplies, and maintaining presentation standards throughout your shift.
- Compliance & Closing Procedures: You follow all California alcohol service laws and internal policies while maintaining a safe and professional environment. You complete opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring the bar is properly set up and reset for the next shift.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years or older with 1+ years of bartending experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or corporate setting
- Reliable and able to consistently work scheduled shifts
- POS experience is required and ideally you have worked with Toast
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, corporate guest-facing environment
- Intermediate knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations
- Must meet all California requirements for alcohol service (e.g., RBS certification)
