Revenue & Margin Ownership: Take full accountability for the e-commerce P&L trading performance, including revenue, margin return rate, and conversion rate. Identify opportunities to grow topline and protect margin through disciplined commercial decision-making.
Promotional Planning & Execution: Lead the development and execution of the promotional calendar, including sales events, markdowns, and campaign-driven trading activity, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and brand alignment.
Pricing & Markdown Management: Facilitate digital pricing strategy and markdown cadence across categories and regions, balancing sell-through targets with margin protection and competitive positioning.
Range & Category Management: Partner with buying and merchandising teams to shape the online product range, ensuring the right product is available at the right time and price to maximise trade performance.
Trading Reporting & Analysis: Drive a data-led trading culture by owning weekly, monthly, and seasonal trading reviews. Translate performance insights into clear actions and recommendations for the business.
Forecasting & Target Setting: Lead the commercial forecasting process for digital trade, working with finance and planning teams to set realistic yet ambitious revenue and margin targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary commercial voice of the e-commerce channel, working closely with marketing, content, buying, and finance teams to ensure trading plans are well-supported and fully activated.
Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor trading activity, market trends, and industry developments to ensure POC’s digital trading approach remains sharp and commercially differentiated.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop the trading team, building a high-performance culture with clear goals, regular feedback, and strong commercial capability.
