1. CONTEXT

As Polène continues to grow and transform its manufacturing organisation in Spain, we are looking for an HRBP – Employee & Labour Relations to strengthen employee and labour relations and provide day-to-day support to managers across our production and logistics sites.

In this role, you will contribute to ensuring consistent and effective people management by combining employee relations, manager support and labour law compliance, while helping anticipate risks and improve HR practices across the organisation.

2. MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will thrive and find fulfilment in this role if you want to:

- Manage employee relations and disciplinary procedures, contributing to internal investigations, conflict resolution and case management while ensuring compliance with internal validation procedures and confidentiality requirements.

- Support labour relations and legal matters, coordinating conciliation proceedings, labour litigation and relationships with employee representatives in collaboration with the HR Partner Manufacturing and external legal counsel.

- Advise and support managers in people management, providing guidance on performance, conduct, absenteeism and employee relations issues, and helping them apply HR policies consistently.

- Ensure labour law compliance and contribute to workplace health and safety, supporting the application of Spanish labour legislation, collective bargaining agreements and internal policies across our sites.

- Monitor and improve HR processes, maintaining accurate employee relations documentation, tracking relevant KPIs, supporting internal and external audits, and following up on open cases, deadlines and identified risks.

3. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

You will stand out in this role if:

- You hold a degree in Law, Labour Relations, Human Resources or a related field, and have 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in employee relations, labour relations, employment law or HR business partnering. Experience in an industrial environment or a large workforce organisation will be highly valued.

- You have a strong knowledge of Spanish employment law, including disciplinary procedures, collective bargaining agreements, individual and collective labour relations, and conflict management. You are familiar with conciliation proceedings and the coordination of labour disputes with external legal counsel.

- You have a professional level of English, enabling you to communicate confidently in an international environment and collaborate effectively with the People & Culture teams in Paris.

- You demonstrate strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, allowing you to assess complex situations, identify potential risks, prioritise effectively and recommend appropriate solutions.

- You are proactive, rigorous and discreet, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You build trusted relationships with managers and employees and handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

4. THE TEAM

As HRBP – Employee & Labour Relations, you will join the Human Resources team supporting Manufacturing in Spain, working closely with the HR Partner Manufacturing and operational teams across our production and logistics sites.

Your role will involve regular interaction with Production, Logistics and Quality Managers, employees, employee representatives and external legal counsel. You will also collaborate with the People & Culture teams in Paris to support consistent HR practices across the organisation.

Reporting directly to the HR Partner Manufacturing, you will play an important role in strengthening employee relations, supporting managers and ensuring effective labour relations management across our industrial organisation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
