We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to join our project team working on complex, distributed systems and large-scale transformation initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding of data structures, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a structured, delivery-focused environment

Summary This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who is comfortable operating at the intersection of business, data, and technology, and who thrives in complex, multi-team project environments.

You will be:

  • • Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements • Translate business needs into clear User Stories at both high-level and technical levels • Support backlog management, refinement, and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners and development teams • Work closely with multiple teams (min. 2 teams) to ensure alignment and consistency across solutions • Participate in large-scale initiatives such as system migrations and platform transformations • Analyze and support data models and relational database structures • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to design scalable solutions • Support testing activities (validation of requirements, UAT support) • Ensure high-quality documentation in Jira and Confluence environments • Contribute to solution design for web-based and distributed systems

Your profile:

Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Understanding of data modeling concepts • Experience working with distributed systems / platform-based architectures • Experience in web-based systems development projects • Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools

Project & Domain Experience • Proven experience in migration projects and complex IT initiatives involving multiple teams • Experience working in fixed-price project environments • Ability to work across complex system landscapes and integrations

  • Business Analysis Skills • Strong experience in writing User Stories, including: o high-level business stories o detailed technical stories with acceptance criteria • Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Soft Skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • High level of independence and ownership • Strong teamwork mindset (team player) • Risk management ability an awareness
  • Working Environment • Collaboration with distributed teams • Participation in complex, multi-system environments • Fix price and Agile delivery model (Scrum-based projects) • High standards for documentation and communication
  • Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.
  • Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

  • Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
  • Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
  • • Knowledge of leasing or railway domain • Experience working with SAP systems
