The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity as PoD Coordinator in Austria. We are looking for a passionate, experienced and a self-steering professional who can identify key opportunities within the small and medium-sized enterprises segment. A key part of your responsibility is managing the back office topics ensuring to maintain the high-quality service expected for our clients.
This position is located at our office in Vienna. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.
The responsibilities
In this role you will take over responsibility on process flows and control the flow of payments from Polestar to partners but also the payments from our partners. In the POD (Planning, Order & Delivery) team you will have the possibility to be part of the whole sales process – both for new and pre-owned Polestar cars. See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
- Ensure that all payments are under control und processed in time
- Reports on market registrations and detailed analysis of segments and market trends
- Support the purchasing process for customer car deliveries with the NGA partners
- Accompany and support the Sales Operations Manager in implementing the needed process and system improvements
The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
- You have ideally a strong understanding and interest of the automotive and fleet business, with the ability to navigate and communicate effectively within the sector.
- We’re looking for a sales-driven mindset rather than supply chain knowledge – you are results-oriented and driven to go the extra mile to achieve targets.
- You connect easily with different stakeholders and can motivate and guide others towards results
- You thrive on solving problems and managing operational tasks independently, finding creative solutions to challenges.
- As part of a small, close-knit team in Austria (4 people), you’ll have the autonomy to organize your role and take ownership of your responsibilities.
- You have excellent German and English skills at a C1 level.

Salary: The minimum salary according to the applicable collective agreement for Retail Sales at the classification C level 1. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, an overpayment is possible.
