  • Process and manage U.S. and Canada benefits enrollments, terminations, and Qualified Life Events (QLEs), ensuring timely, accurate documentation and system updates.
  • Support administration of the company’s 401(k) retirement plan and RSP program, including employee inquiries, enrollment support, coordination with payroll and vendors, and assistance with data validation and reporting.
  • Coordinate benefits-related activities associated with Leaves of Absence, working with leave vendors, payroll, and benefits carriers to ensure accurate coverage, deductions, and time-off impacts.
  • Support the administration of Holiday, Paid Time Off (PTO), and related time-off programs, ensuring accurate setup, tracking, and coordination with HR, HRIS, and payroll teams.
  • Partner closely with the benefits administration system administrator to resolve eligibility issues, data discrepancies, system errors, and employee access concerns.
  • Review, reconcile, and process benefits vendor invoices, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors.

Compensation Support and Development

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of job descriptions, job documentation, and role clarification.
  • Support compensation data collection efforts, including participation in salary surveys and market benchmarking activities.
  • Assist in organizing, analyzing, and documenting compensation data to support the future design and implementation of compensation structures and programs.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support related to merit cycles, compensation changes, and reporting.

Compliance, Reporting, and Coordination

  • Support compliance with applicable U.S. and Canada compensation and benefits regulations, including Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements, by maintaining documentation, assisting with audits, and supporting required reporting activities.
  • Prepare and maintain standard reports related to benefits administration, enrollment, and compensation data.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, brokers, and external vendors to ensure alignment, data accuracy, and timely issue resolution.
  • Assist with employee communications related to compensation and benefits programs, including coordination of materials and system updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in compensation and/or benefits administration, with a strong emphasis on operational execution and employee support.
  • Experience administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, QLEs, retirement plans, and vendor coordination.
  • Exposure to compensation data analysis, job documentation, or market pricing is preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactional work accurately.

Skills and Competencies

  • Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to provide clear, responsive, and empathetic support to employees on compensation and benefits matters.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
