Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI), een dochteronderneming van Port of Antwerp-Bruges, is gespecialiseerd in wereldwijde havenontwikkelingsprojecten en havengerelateerde consultancy in regio's zoals het Midden-Oosten, India, Afrika, Brazilië en Zuidoost-Azië. PoABI is ook actief als mede-aandeelhouder van de haven van Duqm in Oman en Porto do Açu in Brazilië, en beheert de haven van Cotonou in Benin. Daarnaast verkent PoABI voortdurend nieuwe opportuniteiten om haar internationale aanwezigheid uit te breiden.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een ervaren SHEQ expert die internationale havenprojecten veiliger, duurzamer en kwalitatiever wil maken? Werk je graag in een internationale context waar jouw expertise écht impact heeft? Dan is deze rol bij Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI) misschien wel jouw volgende stap.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI), het internationale dochterbedrijf van Port of Antwerp-Bruges zoekt versterking binnen de solution SHEQ & Sustainability. Deze afdeling ondersteunt internationale havens en aanverwante organisaties op het vlak van veiligheid, gezondheid, milieu, kwaliteit en duurzaamheid.

Als SHEQ Expert zet je jouw specifieke expertise in binnen internationale consultancyopdrachten. Je werkt samen met klanten, lokale teams en andere experts en vertaalt complexe SHEQ-vraagstukken naar concrete oplossingen die in de praktijk werken.

Afhankelijk van jouw expertise neem je taken op binnen safety of environment of beide :

  • Je werkt nauw samen met HSE teams van havens om systemen voor gezondheid, veiligheid en milieumanagement te ontwerpen, implementeren en opvolgen. Hierbij begeleid je organisaties bij de voorbereiding op externe audits in overeenstemming met ISO 45001, ISO 14001 en relevante EcoPorts-vereisten.
  • Je volgt veiligheids- en milieuaspecten op werven in havens in het buitenland op en ziet erop toe dat werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd volgens de hoogste internationale veiligheids- en milieustandaarden.
  • Je analyseert, ontwikkelt en implementeert incident- en noodplannen, zowel voor veiligheid als milieu (o.a. spill response), en zorgt voor een effectieve coördinatie bij incidenten.
  • Je werkt aan projecten ter verbetering van arbeidsveiligheid, gezondheid en milieuprestaties en beschikt bij voorkeur over expertise in één of meerdere domeinen zoals risicoanalyses, ergonomie, arbeidshygiëne, milieueffecten, milieumanagementsystemen of incidentbeheer.
  • Voor APEC-Antwerp / Flanders Port Training Center geef je trainingen rond Health, Safety & Environment.

Voorbeelden uit de praktijk :

  • Je brengt de markt voor energietransitie en groene brandstoffen in kaart voor een West-Afrikaanse haven en vertaalt je inzichten naar een onderbouwde marktstudie.
  • Je ontwikkelt en verzorgt een veiligheidsopleiding die havenprofessionals in India helpt om veiligheid naar een hoger niveau te tillen.
  • Je werkt samen met de havenautoriteit van Abidjan aan een ambitieuze decarbonisatie strategie die de weg naar een duurzamere haven mee vormgeeft.
  • Je behaalde een bachelor of masterdiploma bij voorkeur in een health & safety of milieu-gerelateerde richting
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante professionele ervaring binnen SHEQ, HSE, milieu of een aanverwant domein
  • Je hebt een sterke expertise in een van de volgende SHEQ-domeinen: Health & Safety of Environment
  • Je hebt ervaring met het ontwikkelen, implementeren of verbeteren van processen, systemen of procedures binnen jouw expertisegebied. Kennis van relevante ISO-standaarden is een plus
  • Jouw sterktes? Je bent analytisch en je bent pragmatisch in het bedenken van oplossingen, daarnaast ben je communicatief en je legt je vlot contact met collega’s en externen.
  • Je werkt graag projectmatig, neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving waar zelfstandigheid en ownership belangrijk zijn
  • Je hebt een open blik en je voelt je goed in een internationale en multiculturele omgeving
  • Talenkennis is essentieel: je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands, Frans en Engels
  • Durf, verbinding en duurzame impact zijn waarden waarin jij je helemaal kan vinden
