Pottstown School District is looking for Paraprofessionals throughout the district.

learning support assistants

emotional support assistants

autistic support 1:1 assistants

10 Month Position/187-day calendar

Benefit eligible (Medical, Vision, Dental, Prescriptions)

Eligible for $6,100/year in tuition reimbursement

ESY employment opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 clearances required
  • Physical and TB test must be presented prior to starting employment
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. Applicants must also meet Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) paraprofessional qualification requirements through one of the following: Associate degree or higher; Completion of at least 48 college credits; or Successful completion of a state- or locally developed assessment approved for special education paraprofessionals.
  • PA Teaching Certification Highly Desirable
  • May be asked to function in an instructional capacity or as a personal care assistant
