Position Summary: Enjoy working with your hands and having variety in your day? Join Eldora’s Lift Maintenance Team in a full-time, year-round Operations Support role. You’ll deliver packages throughout the resort and pick up and drop off parts, packages, and equipment across the Front Range for Lift Maintenance and other resort departments. You’ll also assist Lift Maintenance with inspections, shop projects, and organizing parts and supplies. During the summer maintenance season, you’ll operate chairlifts while mechanics and electricians perform work on lift towers.

We’re looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently and alongside a crew. Previous ski lift experience is helpful but not required. A valid driver’s license, safe driving record, basic hand-tool skills, and clear communication are essential. Training will be provided for assigned lift operation and maintenance duties.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide Transportation and Delivery Services: Pick up and deliver mail, packages, parts, materials, and equipment for Lift Maintenance and other resort departments. Travel to vendors, repair shops, and other locations across the Front Range and beyond as needed. Coordinate time-sensitive pickups with supervisors.
  • Distribute Resort Packages: Organize incoming deliveries at the shipping and receiving container and deliver packages directly to receiving departments. Communicate delivery issues and maintain orderly storage and access.
  • Operate Lifts for Summer Maintenance: Operate chairlifts while mechanics and electricians perform maintenance on lift towers. Training will be provided, with an emphasis on clear radio communication and safe operating procedures.
  • Assist with Lift Maintenance and Inspections: Help mechanics and electricians inspect, maintain, and repair lift equipment. Training and guidance will be provided for assigned tasks.
  • Support Component Maintenance: Prepare lift components for inspection and assist with rebuilding and assembly work, including sandblasting, replacing chair seat pads, and other shop tasks.

  • Support Inventory and Material Handling: Stock and organize parts, tools, and supplies; assist with inventory; transport materials to on-mountain crews; and deliver designated items to recycling and disposal facilities.
  • Maintain Work Areas: Assist with shop snow removal, cleaning, and upkeep of maintenance facilities and work areas.
  • Document Work and Follow Safety Procedures: Accurately record assigned inspections and maintenance activities. Follow company procedures for vehicle operation, material handling, equipment use, and hazardous energy control.
  • Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to and reinforcing a safe working environment for self, coworkers, work crews, and guests.
  • All employees are expected to support Eldora’s corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment by participating in the Sustainable Transportation Program. This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for guests.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
