About PowerFlex

PowerFlex Fence supplies ranchers with fencing, energizers, water systems and grazing equipment, sold online at powerflexfence.com, through dealers, and from our retail store in Seymour, Missouri. We have been sourcing products globally for decades, and we build our own house brands so ranchers get gear that works.

You will market four product lines under the PowerFlex umbrella:

  • PowerFlex: our premium line. It includes energizers from 4 to 32 joules in AC, DC and solar, premium polybraid, posts and it competes head to head with the top national brands.
  • EverGraze: our premium-economy line. It includes grazing reels, polybraid and energizers under 4 joules, built to beat big-box quality at a price close to big-box levels.
  • Range Ward: solar grazing equipment that we sell through dealers and market as a PowerFlex product line, not a standalone brand.
  • RanchFlow: a next gen virtual fence product line.

The role

The Product Marketing Manager owns positioning, launches and sales enablement for every PowerFlex product line. You report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

This is a hands-on role on a small team, not a strategy-only seat. You will write the copy, build the launch plans and stand in front of dealers. You will also set how four lines in two price tiers fit together without competing with each other. This is an AI-first seat: we expect you to use LLMs every day and to build lightweight tools and workflows that let a small team produce the output of a much larger one.

Your first major assignment is the 2027 house-brand roadmap. That means launching the Ranchflow virtual fence, expanded PowerFlex premium and EverGraze premium-economy lines, plus new products such as the PowerFlex Premium Alternate Power Reel.

What you'll do

Brand and portfolio positioning

  • Define and hold the line between PowerFlex (premium) and EverGraze (premium economy): who each line is for, the price ladder, and which SKUs go in each.
  • Bring Range Ward and RanchFlow fully into the PowerFlex family, with consistent naming, packaging, messaging and site experience.
  • Write and maintain the messaging guide, value propositions and competitive battlecards for each line against the major national fence and energizer brands.

Product launches

  • Plan and run go-to-market for every new SKU and line extension, from naming and pricing input through to launch-day assets.
  • Partner with purchasing and sourcing on specs, packaging copy, inserts and compliance labeling for products we source globally.
  • Set launch goals for each product and report results at 30, 90 and 180 days.

E-commerce and content

  • Own product detail page content on powerflexfence.com, including copy, spec tables, comparison charts, photography briefs and video.
  • Build product content for Amazon, Walmart and other marketplaces as we expand those channels.
  • Produce educational content ranchers actually use, such as fence-building guides, energizer sizing tools and grazing system how-tos, that also drives organic search.

Dealer and sales enablement

  • Create dealer kits: sell sheets, catalogs, price-tier explainers, point-of-sale displays and training decks.
  • Train the sales team and dealers on positioning, competitive differences and objection handling.
  • Support dealer recruitment in the US and Canada with materials matched to each market.

Customer and market insight

  • Talk to ranchers, dealers and our Seymour store customers regularly, and turn what you hear into positioning and product input.
  • Track competitor pricing, launches and promotions, and run win/loss reviews.
  • Use seasonal demand data to plan promotions, including campaigns that lift revenue in fall and winter.

AI-enabled workflows

  • Build and document repeatable AI workflows, such as prompt libraries, content pipelines and reporting automations, that the marketing and sales teams can reuse.

Requirements

What you bring

  • 6+ years in product marketing, with at least 3 years owning positioning and launches for physical products.
  • A record of managing more than one brand or price tier at once, and keeping them distinct.
  • Hands-on experience selling through both e-commerce (Shopify or similar, plus marketplaces) and a dealer or retail channel.
  • Strong copywriting: you can write a spec table, a PDP and a dealer sell sheet yourself, in plain language a rancher trusts.
  • Comfort with data, including pricing analysis, conversion metrics and sell-through, to make and defend decisions.
  • Ability to explain technical products such as energizer joules, conductor resistance and water flow rates clearly.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on use of LLMs in your daily work, with specific examples of workflows, tools or automations you built that improved speed or results.
  • Willingness to travel about 20–25% to dealers, trade shows and ranches.

Nice to have

  • Background in agriculture, livestock, farm and ranch retail, or outdoor and equipment brands, or hands-on ranch experience.
  • Knowledge of electric fencing, rotational grazing or livestock water systems.
  • Experience launching private-label or house brands sourced overseas.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or Walmart Marketplace product content.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian and American ag market and grazing funding programs.
  • Experience building with no-code or low-code and AI tools (for example Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier/n8n, or simple scripts and custom GPTs/Projects).
  • Design and video skills, including AI-assisted creative tools, to make quick assets without waiting on an agency.

Benefits

  • Premier Health Insurance plan with $0 deductible and $0 co-pay
  • Dental and vision insurance plans
  • Flexible spending account options
  • Open Paid Time Off Policy plus nine paid public holidays
  • Participation in our 401(k) savings plan
  • Company-paid Life and AD&D coverage
  • Educational materials and expenses to support related development

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
