The posting

About VOID

VOID Cavitation provides innovative, environmentally responsible solutions for municipal, industrial and agricultural wastewater treatment. Our cavitation technology helps customers address complex wastewater challenges and improve their treatment processes.

As we expand across North America, we're looking for a driven Sales Representative to help introduce our technology to new markets and grow our customer base.

We use AI-assisted tools to help identify and match applicants to our open roles. This may include reviewing resumes and suggesting potential matches. All final hiring decisions are made by humans.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a natural business developer. Someone who enjoys finding new opportunities, opening doors and building relationships from the ground up.

This is a hands-on sales role focused on generating new business across Canada, with potential travel to the U.S as more opportunities arise. You'll have access to existing industry relationships and manufacturer-generated leads, but we're looking for someone who can take that foundation and build something bigger.

With high-value equipment sales and sales cycles that can extend from 6 months to 24 months, success requires persistence, strategic thinking and the drive to keep opportunities moving forward.

You will work closely with leadership and technical teams to turn opportunities into successful projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities across Canada through cold calling, networking, inbound lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, industry contacts and key decision-makers.
  • Research potential accounts, emerging markets, industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial discussions through proposals, negotiations and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to assess project requirements, determine scope and prepare accurate quotes.
  • Communicate the technical and operational value of VOID's solutions to prospective customers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, manage an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on opportunities.
  • Take ownership of sales performance, working toward revenue targets and identifying ways to maximize profitability and business growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming business inquiries during the company's initial growth phase.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A proven track record with 3+ years of success in B2B sales, business development or technical equipment sales; experience in wastewater treatment, environmental services or industrial equipment sales would be a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools, with strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
  • A background in chemistry, environmental science or a related technical discipline would also be valuable.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 based on experience
  • The opportunity to help grow an innovative wastewater treatment business across Canada.
  • High-value equipment sales and the opportunity to develop new markets.
  • Access to existing industry relationships, manufacturer-generated leads and technical support.
  • A collaborative, family-owned business where initiative and new ideas are valued.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
