As an E&I Technician, you'll be the expert responsible for the mill's electrical and instrumentation systems. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • System Diagnostics: Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on a wide range of process equipment.
  • Electrical Expertise: Repairing and wiring 120V, 460V AC, and 24V DC circuits. Installing and maintaining distribution systems, transformers, and electrical controls like coils, contactors, and relays.
  • Advanced Equipment: Servicing and maintaining a variety of critical equipment, including PLCs, distributed control systems, overhead cranes, motors, motor control centers, and guide systems.
  • Reading and Interpretation: Skillfully interpreting P&ID, hydraulic, pneumatic, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
  • Precision Work: Using a multimeter and Megohm meter to diagnose issues, running and bending conduit, and wiring motors according to applicable codes.
  • Safe Operations: Safely racking in and out high-voltage breakers (460V, 4160V, and 12.47kV).
  • Mobile Equipment: Operating motorized equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, hoists, and cranes to support maintenance tasks.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrating a strong learning aptitude by participating in ongoing educational and certificate training programs.

What We're Looking For

  • Education and Experience: A 2- to 4-year degree from a college, university, technical school, military, vocational, or other advanced educational institution is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Mental & Physical Abilities: You must have the ability to read and understand technical manuals, perform basic to intermediate math, and communicate clearly. The role is physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and the ability to operate motorized equipment safely.
  • Safety First: A meticulous approach to safety is mandatory. This includes following lockout/tag out procedures, wearing all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and adhering to strict plant safety policies for energized circuits and other hazards.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
