We are hiring experienced caregivers for home care clients in Angier area. If you are compassionate, dependable, and have caregiving experience, looking for work in that area, we want to hear from you.

Preferred Care at Home of Apex, Garner, and Fuquay-Varina is a growing, locally owned home care agency serving South Wake County and surrounding communities. We are dedicated to helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home through personalized care, meaningful companionship, and support with daily living activities. Backed by a trusted organization serving families since 1984, we combine the heart of a small, growing team with the strength of an established legacy. Our mission is to provide dependable, compassionate care while building a team of caregivers and leaders who are genuinely driven to make a difference in the lives of others every day.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Provide mobility assistance and transfers
  • Monitor and report changes in condition
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • Compassionate & professional attitude
  • Current TB test (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check
