Job Summary We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to operate out of our Granite Falls facility. The Maintenance Technician maintains and troubleshoots equipment and machinery to minimize downtime. This role could require shift work and /or nights, 8 or 12hrs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Responsible for equipment safety. Maintain, troubleshoot and resolve all equipment aspects of plant machinery. Assembly, disassembly, converting and upgrading equipment as required. Document all maintenance activities and champions robust preventative maintenance programs. Take proactive measures to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime as well as reduce waste / scrap. Works with management to create, modify and fine tune equipment PM’s. Estimates maintenance labor hours and materials needed to complete work orders. Utilize manuals, blueprints, and/ or electrical schematics to develop maintenance work instructions. Manage the equipment bill of materials in SAP Prepares requisitions and allocates material to work orders in SAP Schedule and coordinate outside vendors for repairs and service evaluations. Communication with production pertaining to maintenance activities. Provide problem solving and resolution skills for department issues. All other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or credentialed equivalent in English & Mathematics A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a Maintenance role. Must have Mechanical experience. Electrical preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Must have troubleshooting and problem resolution experience. Ability to complete assignments with limited supervision. Ability to read and interpret documents and blue print drawings. Working Conditions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds and endure elevated temperature levels.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a focus on quality. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions including basic mathematical skills.
Overtime requirements: Overtime as needed daily or weekends based upon business needs.
Attendance
Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Training RequiredOn-site orientation and training will be provided.
