High School Diploma or GED Experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, converting, bindery, or a related production environment Experience supporting production equipment, machine setups, or changeovers Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

Experience working with rollers, cylinders, printing plates, glue pads, adhesives, or other production consumables Printing, flexographic printing, packaging, or converting experience Material handling and inventory control Machine setup and changeover support Web handling or finishing equipment 5S or continuous improvement programs

Start Your Manufacturing Career with Pregis Pregis is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Utility Production Associate to support our Arlington manufacturing team. This role helps keep production running efficiently by maintaining inventory, preparing materials, supporting machine setups, and ensuring operators have the necessary supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in a printing, packaging, converting, or manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with production components such as rollers, cylinders, plates, glue pads, adhesives, and basic hand tools. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and stage materials for production jobs Assist machine operators with setups and changeovers Prepare rollers, cylinders, plates, glue pads, and make-ready materials Maintain inventory of production supplies and consumables Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed Organize storage areas and accurately store materials Coordinate the repair or reconditioning of production rollers Change glue totes and support adhesive systems Deliver materials and supplies to production teams Perform basic mechanical and production-support tasks Help reduce downtime by responding promptly to operator requests Maintain clean, organized production and storage areas Support plant housekeeping and 5S initiatives Properly store and dispose of waste, oils, adhesives, and consumables Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company standards

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work a 12-hour shift Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment
