Job Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising activities of a production team and shift/department and will have multiple direct reports. The right individual will have 3+ years of experience leading & managing a team in a manufacturing environment, and will ensure that safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards are achieved, while meeting waste reduction and sustainability goals. In addition, the individual in this role will be responsible for creating a culture based on integrity, customer focus, innovation, and collaboration that will enhance the department’s ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent. The Production Supervisor is responsible for all people leadership and management aspects of the department, including the interviewing and selection of talent and all components of performance management. Success in this role requires strong leadership, a commitment to safety, and the ability to develop employees while meeting production goals. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Lead the shift to ensure production goals for safety, quality, output, and efficiency are met. Manage staffing, schedules, and daily work assignments to keep production running smoothly. Monitor production performance, identify issues, and work with the team to solve problems quickly. Communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals and hold employees accountable for results. Train, coach, and develop employees on safety procedures, quality standards, equipment operation, and work instructions. Ensure employees are properly trained and that training records and procedures are kept up to date. Support continuous improvement efforts that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase productivity. Complete and maintain accurate production, safety, quality, staffing, and maintenance reports. Promote a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required High School diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of manufacturing experience required 3+ years of experience leading employees in a manufacturing environment required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
Experience using manufacturing reporting systems, production metrics, and basic business software preferred Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis’ total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $80-$100K.
