  • Lead feature development and provide technical direction throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, business partners, vendors, and customers to gather requirements, resolve technical challenges, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, documentation standards, testing strategies, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Embed security, governance, compliance, and regulatory controls into AI and DevOps solutions, ensuring adherence to company standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Oversee vendor-delivered solutions, including technical reviews, code quality assessments, and final sign-off to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor project and operational metrics, analyze trends and performance indicators, and make data-driven recommendations to improve delivery efficiency and solution quality.
  • Drive engineering excellence through automation, continuous improvement, and effective quality assurance practices across cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure appropriate technical, architectural, and SDLC documentation is created, maintained, and approved for production implementations and support activities.
  • Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor by mentoring engineers, sharing knowledge, fostering innovation, and promoting best practices across the organization.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, AI advancements, and Azure DevOps capabilities to continuously improve engineering effectiveness and business value.

What you’ll bring:

Required Qualifications

  • (8) years of software development experience with strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and proficiency in one or more programming languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and delivering cloud‑based solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Wiki).
  • Experience with Azure AI/OpenAI, including RAG patterns and prompt engineering.
  • Strong observability and operational excellence mindset.
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Premera technologies (e.g., Facets), where applicable.

  • Strong collaborator with the ability to influence, align, and lead across differing perspectives.
  • Ability to continuously evolve technical skills and mentor less experienced engineers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
