Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.

Job Summary

Provide academic support to elementary students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 based on their individual learning needs and the Georgia curriculum.

Provide supplemental assignments, activities, and learning strategies to help students strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and other elementary subject areas.

Provide remedial and enrichment support to help students build confidence, develop strong academic foundations, and achieve their learning goals.

Adapt instruction, materials, and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs, learning styles, and academic levels.

Support students with foundational literacy, reading comprehension, writing, numeracy, problem-solving, study skills, and overall academic development.

Provide individualized support for students with diverse learning needs. Experience working with students with special education needs, IEPs, learning differences, or other exceptionalities is preferred.

Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, learning goals, and areas for continued development.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for teachers or soon to be teachers who can meet the following criteria:

Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching or tutoring elementary students in Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Strong knowledge of elementary-level academics, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and foundational learning skills.

Experience working with students with special education needs, learning differences, IEPs, or other exceptionalities is strongly preferred.

Ability to adapt instruction and provide individualized support based on each student's academic strengths, challenges, and learning style.

Committed to providing excellent customer service and a positive learning experience for students and families.

Enjoy working with children and families and have a genuine interest in supporting students' academic growth, confidence, and development.

Great communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians.

Familiarity with the Georgia curriculum and elementary academic expectations is considered an asset.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

You hold a registration in good standing with the Georgia Department of Education.

You are qualified to teach in the United States.

You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education.

You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited United States or Canadian University or College.

Experience teaching or tutoring Kindergarten through Grade 6 is required, with experience in Special Education, exceptional education, or supporting students with diverse learning needs considered a strong asset.

This position will serve students in the Forsyth, Georgia area.
