Volkswagen of Altoona is looking for experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing service department!

We are seeking motivated, skilled technicians who take pride in their workmanship, have strong diagnostic abilities, and are committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Whether you’re an experienced Volkswagen technician or have a strong automotive background with another manufacturer, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair Volkswagen vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced diagnostics
  • Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Accurately document repairs, diagnostic findings, and recommendations
  • Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to maintain productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Stay current with automotive technology and manufacturer repair procedures

Qualifications

  • Manufacturer certifications preferred but not required; Volkswagen certification is a strong plus
  • Previous dealership automotive technician experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively in a flat-rate environment
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and repair procedures
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
