Software Developer – Antec Controls The Systems Developer role offers the opportunity to design and deliver impactful, customer-facing web applications while continuously improving performance and scalability. If you are passionate about building high-quality solutions, eager to learn, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can troubleshoot, optimize, and drive continuous improvement, you are encouraged to consider this opportunity. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our web applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions Requirements gathering and analysis to validate project feasibility, cost, and effort. Collaborating with other departments to ensure functionality is maintained for all users. Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and usability. Facilitate training for staff on comprehension, navigation, and utilization. Responding to system inquiries and the technologies it supports. Staying current with features and capabilities for continuous improvement. Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators. Writing clean and scalable code, following code best practices. Troubleshooting and debugging issues as necessary.

The ideal candidate for this position will have: 

Years of experience: 3+ years Graduated from a Computer Science, Computer Engineering degree or a Technology program. A high level of critical thinking, accountability, and adaptability. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables. The ability to take initiative. Experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Laravel, Vue, and MySQL. Passion for customer service excellence. Experience working with UX/UI considered an asset. Experience with web and/or mobile application development. Experience building mid-sized enterprise software. Experience working with relational databases, API development, and integration. Experience using Git (version control) and issue tracking system.
