We are a team of consultants solving a familiar problem: how do you earn credibility with a client? We believe it starts with understanding the client’s industry.

Modern business has become the Tower of Babel: every industry has its own language. If you speak your client's language, you connect and find a way in. And if you don’t, you’re flying blind with a surface-level understanding. Companies spend millions on dull, slow, and unscalable solutions. The traditional go-tos – SMEs, in-house content, and live training – aren’t working.

We created a new way to learn an industry in under an hour (imagine the “I know kung fu” scene from The Matrix, but for business), using fun animated stories produced like a media product. Our primers are widely used by the world's top consulting and technology firms, with 90%+ completion rates, rave reviews, and hundreds of deals won and projects delivered.

Primerli is scaling fast, which means every process we have is up for a rethink. We are on a transformation journey to AI-native ways of working, which makes this a genuinely exciting time to join. The Role

This role works with every team in the business. You will report to the Head of Operations and support Sales, Customer Success, and Product.

Your first job is to keep the engine running: product delivery, client onboarding, data reporting, and admin processes. But there’s more to it - you’ll reinvent how we get work done alongside AI agents, and write the playbook for how Primerli operates. And when strategic problems pop up, you’ll help us crack them.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who enjoys moving between strategy and execution, would rather solve problems than follow a checklist, and wants to learn how an AI-native company works.

What You'll Do

Mandate

Keep Primerli running smoothly and efficiently, and work cross-functionally to solve the company’s most important problems.

Responsibilities

Business Operations (60%)

  • Own the recurring workflows that keep clients happy: onboarding, course delivery, NASBA compliance
  • Build dashboards and reporting to track business health and product usage
  • Help key enterprise clients troubleshoot technical issues

Problem Solving (30%)

  • Turn the workflows you run into AI agents and automations, then keep making them better
  • Help shape how all of Primerli uses AI: shared tools, workflows, and a company knowledge base

Special Projects (10%)

  • Contribute to projects that shape how Primerli operates and scales (e.g., analyze build vs. partner options for technology investments)

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • Experience building with AI tools
  • Client-facing experience (consulting club or internship counts)
  • Strong analytical skills and data fluency
  • Clear and professional written communication

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working in a high-growth environment
  • 1-2 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier firm
  • Interest in learning, teaching, or education

Location and Work Environment

While the company is based in California, you will work remotely with a global team. We are open to candidates based in the United States and Canada. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones and traveling up to 10% of the time to co-locate with the team.
