Prince Avenue Academy & Nursery (PAAN) are delighted to offer you the chance to apply to come and work in our wonderful school as an Administrative Assistant. Welfare

To administer first aid and medicines to pupils as required, in keeping with the school’s policy and to order first aid supplies as necessary

The successful candidate will be required to hold a first aid qualification, training will be provided, and will need to be confident in taking a significant lead with first aid and medical needs within the school.

Pupil Matters

To be responsible for pupil admissions, carrying out all correspondence and duties related to the school’s admission procedures for the Nursery & the main school, liaising with staff, parents, governing body and LA accordingly

To be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of both manual and computerised pupil data records

Knowledge of Arbor is preferable and previous experience of working within a school office environment would be an advantage.

To prepare and maintain all pupil record files, ensuring filing system is kept up -to date

Clerical

To be responsible for the administration of free school meals and liaison with parents

Responsible for preparing and administering the after school activity timetable, including setting up registers in the School Gateway App liaising with club leaders and parents accordingly

Responsible for administration of Breakfast and After School club; liaising with Extended Services Coordinator

Assist office manager with managing all aspects of the School Gateway App

Finance

To be responsible for administration of the Early Years Funding including completion of data requests and required information to/for the Local Authority

Responsible for reconciliation of dinner money by managing electronic payments and arrears in the School Gateway App and liaising with parents accordingly
