The posting

We are seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist (OR/Surgical Tech) for a 13-week assignment in Saint Mary's, Georgia. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift role with an ASAP start date.

Assignment Details

  • Specialty: OR / Surgical Tech
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Hours: 40 per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Total gross weekly pay: $1,795

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating rooms and set up sterile fields, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
  • Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Count instruments, sponges, and supplies accurately before, during, and after procedures
  • Help with patient positioning and room turnover between cases
  • Keep accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the OR team

Requirements

  • Experience as a Surgical Technologist in an OR setting
  • Must live 80+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment
  • Valid driver’s license, which must be included in the candidate profile
  • Availability to start ASAP and commit to the full 13 weeks
