Summary:

Performs maintenance/improvement functions for the grounds and buildings at direction of Owner Management. Coordinates outside vendor repair services relating to the foregoing as requested.

Essential Duties:

  • Care of dealership owned tools, equipment and maintenance vehicle.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
  • Removing debris generated as result of maintenance as necessary.
  • Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:

Four (4) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Valid driver's license and a clean Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Report.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but can be loud at times.
