  • Manage the media credential process for PBR events, including reviewing and tracking requests, routing requests to the appropriate PR team member for their respective events, coordinating approvals, maintaining accurate credential lists, and coordinating onsite credential distribution when necessary.
  • Prepare riders, coaches, executives and other spokespeople for media opportunities by developing briefing materials, key messages, background information and interview preparation as needed.
  • Partner with the Marketing, Sponsorship, Social and other internal teams, as well as TKO team members where appropriate, to amplify event promotion through integrated campaigns.
  • Draft and edit a wide range of content including press releases, web copy, media advisories, press kits, video scripts, and talking points that reflect PBR's voice and objectives.
  • Lead efforts to secure earned media coverage for events by proactively pitching national, regional, and local outlets across TV, radio, print, and digital platforms.
  • Maintain and manage accurate and up-to-date media contact lists, rider profiles, and communication assets.
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of key publications including the annual media guide, fact sheets, and promotional collateral.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating media-related content on PBR’s official website, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Prepare and communicate/distribute regular internal briefings to keep marketing and communications staff aligned on event activities, media priorities, and schedules.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of earned media coverage and news clips related to PBR, its events, athletes and teams, and prepare a timely daily coverage report for distribution to PBR leadership.
  • Track and report earned media results for events and initiatives, providing timely post-event recaps.
  • Monitor and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support on-site event operations as part of the PR team, providing direct media support and coverage management during live events.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, venues and other communications partners as needed to ensure alignment on media outreach, event support and execution.
  • Assist in identifying and executing innovative PR opportunities, storytelling angles, and brand partnerships to elevate the sport's cultural relevance.
  • Work collaboratively across departments and assist team members with broader marketing and communications initiatives as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

You Have These:

  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver effective pitches.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
