Als System Engineer / Consultant bei PROFI sind Sie Teil eines engagierten Expertenteams, das unsere Kunden bei der Planung, Implementierung und Betreuung moderner Backup- und Business Continuity-Lösungen unterstützt. Sie entwickeln gemeinsam mit erfahrenen Kolleginnen und Kollegen maßgeschneiderte IT-Konzepte zur Datensicherung und setzen diese erfolgreich um. Darüber hinaus beraten Sie unsere Kunden umfassend im Bereich Business Continuity und tragen so aktiv zur Sicherstellung ihrer IT-Verfügbarkeit bei.

Was sind die Aufgaben in dieser Position?

  • Beratung, Konzeption, Aufbau, Implementierung und Betrieb von Backup- und Business Continuity-Lösungen
  • Durchführung von Workshops und Schulungen für Kunden im Bereich Datensicherung / Cyberresilience
  • Mitarbeit in IT-Dienstleistungsprojekten mit Schwerpunkt Datensicherung
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Teams aus Managed Services, Consulting und Vertrieb
  • Kontinuierliche Weiterbildung zu aktuellen Technologien und Trends
  • Zusammenarbeit mit führenden Herstellern im Bereich Backup und Storage

Wer passt zu uns und zu wem passen wir?

  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Planung, Umsetzung und Betreuung von Backup-Lösungen
  • Ausgeprägtes Interesse an neuen Technologien und Themen der Datensicherung / Cyberresilience
  • Kontinuierlichere Weiterentwicklung in diesen und angrenzenden Themen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Backup-Lösungen verschiedener Hersteller (z. B. Dell DPS, IBM, Commvault, Veeam)
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung mit Storage-Systemen (z. B. IBM, Dell, NetApp, Pure, Huawei)
  • Wünschenswert: Kenntnisse im Bereich SAN (Storage Area Network)
  • Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Workshops von Vorteil
  • Gute Kenntnisse in Betriebssystemen wie Windows, Linux und AIX
  • Erfahrung mit Virtualisierungstechnologien (vorzugsweise VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Reisebereitschaft innerhalb Deutschlands
