With a staff of 950+ and an annual budget of $140 million, Project Renewal is one of the larger social service nonprofits in New York City.   Title:          DriverProgram:  City Beets Kitchen Salary:      $20.079 per hour   Program Description: City Beet Kitchens is a mission-based catering company. We were established in 1995 as “Comfort Foods” and rebranded in 2015 to “City Beet Kitchens”. We cater to all organizations for all events – from galas to homeless shelters and plated sit-down meals to boxed lunches. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The essential duties of the Driver include but are not limited to the following activities:

Operates a truck/van safely and in compliance with motor vehicle laws at all times. Able to complete all assignments when required. Able to route reassignments and changes in daily schedule: accept and comply with operational changes to attain greater efficiencies. Able to constantly communicate information about the route to the Fleet Manager, especially events that could impact pick-up or delivery of food or completion of route schedule.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent A minimum of one year of experience working directly with psychiatrically disabled or addicted individuals Must be able to deliver products in a safe and timely manner to all clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
