Role Overview
As a Manager, Managed Service , you will play a highly visible role partnering with business leaders, customers and carriers to ensure world class delivery across a diverse portfolio. You will drive customer value through data analysis, operational excellence and proactive project management. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving and requires the ability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple complex accounts and translate insights into long-term solutions.
As the Manager, Managed Services, you will lead a team of Managed Service Consultants and own the delivery of a diverse portfolio of enterprise and strategic customers. You will partner with business leaders, customers and carriers to ensure strong outcomes in adoption, data quality and service performance, and you will set the operational standards, analytics practices and people development that make the team successful. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on problem solving. You will influence senior stakeholders, coach your team through complex accounts and turn data insights into scalable, long-term solutions. This role reports to VP, Customer experience, manages a team of 5+ consultants and covers global region. Location: Bengaluru
What You Will Work On
- Hire, onboard, lead, coach and develop a team of Managed Service Consultants, setting clear goals, giving regular feedback and building a strong, high-performing culture.
- Own the health of the team’s customer portfolio, including delivery timelines, milestones, end-to-end project plans and risk management across global regions and multiple project44 products.
- Serve as an executive point of contact for key customers and carriers and escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Set the strategy for carrier initiatives, from planning through adoption, and review data-driven insights and best-practice recommendations presented by the team.
- Drive a culture of deep-dive data analysis, ensuring the team identifies patterns, uncovers root causes and delivers improvements that increase data quality and availability, using visualization tools and internal data platforms to triage errors and speed up issue resolution.
- Define and monitor team KPIs, review progress across accounts, and publish regular reports to leadership that highlight risks and business impact.
- Hold customers, carriers and internal teams accountable for actions that improve operational outcomes.
- Partner with Product, Support, Carrier Operations, Engineering and Sales to drive customer value, and represent the voice of the customer and carrier in cross-functional forums.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks and process improvements that raise quality, consistency and efficiency across the Managed Services practice, and identify process gaps and share scalable solutions across the organization.
- Allocate and balance workload across the team, and manage capacity, prioritization and competing demands.
- Maintain a deep understanding of carrier integration methods across modes, and guide the team’s technical decision-making.
What You Need
- 8+ years of experience in data analysis, operations, consulting or account management, including at least two years leading or managing a team.
- Experience in SaaS, software or logistics is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a complex portfolio of enterprise customers and to lead multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and executive audiences.
- Solid understanding of source data, data formats (such as EDI, API and file-based feeds) and data behaviour.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL, and familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Kibana or Observe.
- Experience with APIs or basic coding concepts is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop talent, and to manage performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and a customer-focused, problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a track record of process improvement.
- Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
