Senior Data & AI Transformation Consultant | Consulting | Brussels | Projective Group | from €5.5k / month

Do you thrive on guiding complex data and AI transformations while advising senior stakeholders on strategic challenges?

Join our Data & AI team and work on influential projects for clients such as ING, Belfius, Euroclear and SWIFT. From data strategy and governance to AI adoption, regulatory initiatives, target operating model design, and large-scale data transformation programmes, you'll help turn aspiration into tangible results.

Your skills & qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Strategy, Data Transformation or Financial Services Consulting.
  • Excellent communication skills, combined with fluency in English and Dutch or French.
  • A track record delivering data and transformation initiatives within banking, insurance or financial services.
  • The ability to confidently engage, challenge and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Experience defining data governance frameworks, operating models and data capabilities.
  • Excellent expertise across data quality, lineage, metadata, privacy and security.
  • Familiarity with governance tooling such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview or Alation, and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, BCBS239 and DORA.

Nice to have:

  • Consulting experience within a recognised advisory organisation.
  • Experience with DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK, AI Governance or Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Exposure to data operating model design or Data Office transformation.
  • Thought leadership contributions, conference speaking or industry participation.

What will you do? As a Senior Data & AI Transformation Consultant, you'll advise clients on complex data and AI challenges, helping them design strategies, strengthen governance, and deliver transformative change across their organisation.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business, data, risk, compliance and technology stakeholders across the financial sector.
  • Guide Data Management, Data Governance and AI Transformation initiatives, from strategy definition through implementation.
  • Shape data strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks and Data Office capabilities that enable organisations to unlock value from data.
  • Help clients translate regulatory requirements such as GDPR, BCBS239 and DORA into practical and sustainable data capabilities.
  • Push initiatives across data quality, lineage, metadata management, privacy, security, analytics and AI readiness, leveraging platforms such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview and Alation.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, steer stakeholder alignment and deliver presentations that influence strategic decision-making at C-level.
  • Guide project teams, mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development, thought leadership and the growth of Projective Group's Data & AI Practice.
