Prosper is building the most advanced conversational AI agents for healthcare, human-like phone agents that handle the administrative work draining the system, including claims status checks, benefit verification, prior authorizations, patient scheduling, and balance reminders. As we prepare for our next stage of growth, we're looking for ambitious, exceptionally talented people to help scale our team and grow with us.

THE ROLE

We're experiencing rapid growth in New York and Barcelona, and hiring well is now one of the most important things we do. As our first dedicated Recruiter, you’ll own our searches from the first conversation with the hiring manager through to the signed offer.

This is a hands-on role with true ownership. Beyond your own searches, you'll help us build and refine our hiring processes as we scale, from interviews to the data we use for improvement.

You’ll report to our Head of People and work closely with hiring managers and founders. This role is based in our Barcelona office, with at least three days a week in person.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Run searches end to end: kick-off with the hiring manager, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and closing

- Source directly and build strong pipelines of passive candidates; the majority of your hires will come from your outreach

- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, assessment strategies, and candidate profiles

- Ensure every candidate experiences a fast, clear, and respectful process; everyone hears back from us

- Keep Ashby updated and report on pipeline health, time to hire, and conversions for each search

- Continuously improve our processes: interview guides, scorecards, outreach templates, and our presence in the Barcelona tech community

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, ideally in-house at a fast-growing tech startup

- Demonstrated experience hiring engineers, with examples of searches you've led from kick-off to signed offer

- Strong sourcing skills: you excel at finding and attracting passive candidates

- Able to manage multiple searches simultaneously with excellent follow-through; hiring managers and candidates never chase you for updates

- Provide hiring managers with a clear, data-backed point of view, and aren’t afraid to challenge ineffective processes or profiles

- Fluent English, both written and spoken; you’ll work with teams and candidates across Europe and the US

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience recruiting for AI, healthcare, or SaaS companies

- Go-to-market hiring (sales, customer success) as well as engineering

- Experience with Ashby or other modern ATS

- Spanish proficiency

INTERVIEW PROCESS

1. Initial conversation to understand your background, goals, and interests (30 minutes)

2. Written exercise at home on managing one of our real searches (around 2 hours)

3. Live session with our Head of People and a hiring manager: review your exercise and run a mock kick-off meeting (45 minutes)

4. Conversation with a co-founder (30 minutes)

5. Offer stage
