We are hiring for multiple openings of Cook positions in the Dietary Department at Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK!
Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, 10-hr Variable and Day shifts, hours per week are as needed and not guaranteed.

Under supervision, this position is primarily responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plan of care guidelines. Additionally, this position may perform housekeeping related duties and/or participate in other resident services activities as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of State of Alaska approved feeding assistance program within 6 months of hire.
- Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.
- 2 years' experience in quantity food preparation required, including knowledge of hot and cold food preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Vocational/Culinary Arts.
- Experience with the elderly.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
