About Proximity Foundation

Proximity Foundation runs structured coding education programs for young people aged 14-18 at Community Care Institutions (CCIs). Using a computer-based LMS curriculum covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL, we pair students with volunteer mentors in cohort-based sessions designed to build real technical skills and lasting confidence.

We are scaling from the first cohort to many cohorts within Mumbai and building the operational team that will carry this program forward. Every role in Proximity Foundation is a direct investment in the young people we serve.

Role Type : Volunteer

Time Commitment : 2-3 hrs. a week

Department : Communication & Outreach

Reports to : Communication & Outreach Lead

ROLE FOCUS

Supporting the content engine of Proximity Foundation. Create compelling, on-brand digital content — social media posts, impact stories, graphics, and program updates — that serves both the Communications & Outreach team's recruitment and visibility goals and the Partnership & Engagement team's donor and partner engagement needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation for Comms & Outreach
  • Produce social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X) aligned with the communication calendar
  • Write impact stories and program updates showcasing student journeys and volunteer contributions
  • Create or source graphics, visuals, and templates aligned to Proximity Foundation's brand identity
  • Draft volunteer recruitment posts and outreach materials as directed by the Comm & Outreach Lead
  • Content Creation for Partnerships & Engagement
  • Produce content for donor briefings, partner introductions, and pitch materials — briefed by the Comm & Outreach Lead in coordination with the Partnership & Engagement Lead
  • Create one-pagers, impact summaries, or presentation assets as directed for specific donor or partner engagements
  • Ensure all partnership/donor-facing content is accurate, compelling, and approved before use
  • Process & Workflow
  • Submit all content drafts to the Communication & Outreach Lead for review before any publishing or sharing
  • Incorporate feedback promptly — do not publish or share independently
  • Maintain a shared, organised content library accessible to both the Comms and Partnerships teams
  • Follow the agreed content calendar and deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Reporting
  • Provide a weekly update to the Comm & Outreach Lead on content produced, pending approvals, and upcoming planned content

WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK LOOKS LIKE

You'll be creating and scheduling content, collaborating with the Partnerships Lead on what materials they need next, reviewing work from the other Content Creators of your team.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

You'll build Proximity Foundation's voice from the ground up — and the materials you create will directly open doors to partnerships and funding that sustain the program.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
