Your contribution to Prysmian’s success

  • Defines the overall project vision, execution strategy, governance model and priorities, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and Prysmian’s business objectives.
  • Leads, coordinates and develops a team of Project Managers, each responsible for a defined project scope, workstream, phase or package, while retaining accountability for the integrated project result.
  • Establishes clear accountabilities, decision rights, interfaces and escalation routes across the Project Management team and the wider project organisation.
  • Ensures effective integration across Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Marine and Land Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Contract Management, Project Controls, Quality and HSE.
  • Acts as Prysmian’s interface with the Customer, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and protecting the long-term strategic partnership.
  • Owns the overall project financial performance, including revenue, margin, cash flow, forecasting, contingencies and exposure management.
  • Drives the commercial and contractual strategy, including change management, variation orders, claims, major negotiations and dispute resolution, in coordination with Contract Management and Finance.
  • Ensures that risks and opportunities are systematically identified, quantified, owned, mitigated and escalated, with effective recovery plans where performance deviates from target.
  • Challenges and approves the plans, forecasts, mitigation measures and recovery actions developed by the Project Managers and functional leaders.
  • Chairs the project leadership team and internal governance reviews, providing clear, transparent and timely reporting to Prysmian senior management.
  • Represents Prysmian in executive steering committees, customer governance forums and critical negotiations with partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Creates a high-performance culture based on safety, accountability, collaboration, disciplined execution, constructive challenge and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that lessons learned are captured and applied throughout execution and transferred to the wider organisation.

You are the right fit if you have/are

  • Minimum 8–15 years of progressive experience in Project Management within complex EPC/EPCI environments, including significant experience in senior project leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading the execution of a single large-scale or mega project through a Project Management team responsible for multiple scopes or work packages.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large, multidisciplinary and multicultural project organisations operating in a matrix environment.
  • Full understanding of project financial management, including P&L, forecasting, margin, cash flow, working capital, contingencies and risk exposure.
  • Ability to engage, influence and negotiate effectively with Customer executives, joint-venture or consortium partners, authorities and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership presence, judgement and decision-making capability in complex, high-pressure and politically sensitive environments.
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German language capability is a plus.
  • PMI PMP, IPMA Level A/B, APM Chartered Project Professional or equivalent certification is desirable.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
