SoftwareSeni is a Software Development Company based in Yogyakarta & Sydney, Australia. We have been designing and developing phone apps, websites, and mobile experiences. We love solving tough problems – from user experience to design and code. We build enterprise web-based solutions for clients all over the world, from Australia, Indonesia, Europe, Africa, and America. Our clients from Indonesia: Astra International, Traveloka, Angkasa Pura, Peduli Anak Foundation. Our clients from Australia: Bike Exchange, Downsizing, Red Balloon, Sectara, and many more.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Proficient in TypeScript (main stack) or at least JavaScript for automation scripting.
  • Strong understanding of STLC and Agile testing processes.
  • Skilled with automation tools such as Playwright or Maestro.
  • Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Detox, or Espresso.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of API testing and backend validation (REST/GraphQL).
  • Familiar with CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab,
  • Experience with Dockerized testing environments and test sharding strategies.
  • Strong understanding of mobile testing, including touch gestures, orientation changes, network condition testing, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Experience building comprehensive testing strategies from scratch.
  • Product-driven mindset with the ability to identify UX issues and business logic gaps.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM-based tools for automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with security testing concepts and OWASP best practices.
  • Strong communication skills in English (speaking & writing).
  • Willing to work onsite at Yogyakarta.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand complex business/system requirements and design documents.
  • Develop, create, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Conduct extensive regression testing and thorough post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Collaborate closely with other QA engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Document detailed testing activities and results, and provide comprehensive test reports.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts with minimal supervision.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in software testing.
